Probably the only book by an American author that I love. I only like Magician, not the whole Riftwar Saga series.
Interesting Times is my favorite book from the Discworld series.

Midlake are an indie rock band. Their lyrics are amazing, almost every single song they've made is brilliant.
Just really cool.
